Job summary

Cleantech Civils is seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Driver / Plant Operator to join our team. You will operate excavators and other plant machinery safely, perform groundworks, and follow site plans. Maintain a clean, safe site and work with groundworkers and site personnel on civil projects.

The role offers full-time ongoing work with opportunities for progression and a supportive team environment on a variety of civil engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators and plant machinery on civil sites.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Safe Pass and relevant site safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and plant machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carry out excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling and groundworks.
• Work with groundworkers and site personnel.
• Perform daily machine checks and report defects.

Cleantech Civils is a growing civil engineering company We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Machine Driver / Plant Operator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other plant machinery safely and efficiently.

• Carry out excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling and general groundworks.

• Work alongside groundworkers and other site personnel.

• Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.

• Follow site plans and instructions from the Site Foreman or Project Manager.

• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.

• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating excavators and construction plant machinery.

• Valid SOLAS CSCS Plant Operator Card.

• Safe Pass and relevant site safety training preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

• Full driving licence is desirable.
