M&E QA/QC Lead — Commissioning & Handover

Job summary

ODS Engineering is seeking a quality-focused professional to support MEP QA/QC, inspections, and commissioning on demanding projects. You will verify installations, review test plans, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure compliance prior to energisation and handover.

Responsibilities include leading defect identification and closure, managing NCR lifecycles, and maintaining clear, auditable documentation using SharePoint. Experience with data centres or critical infra is valued.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services engineering.
• Experience in M&E QA/QC, inspection or commissioning support.
• Experience on data centres, critical infrastructure or fast-track projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing quality on live sites.
• CSCS and QA/QC training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify mechanical and electrical installations including HVAC, containment, piping, and fire protection.
• Review ITPs, commissioning documentation, and vendor submissions.
• Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure Quality before energisation and handover.
• Lead QC walkdowns, identify defects, and ensure closure.
• Witness testing, inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Manage the full NCR lifecycle and liaise with subcontractors and project teams.
• Maintain auditable records using document control systems such as SharePoint.
