Job summary

Uniting Holding is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to oversee mechanical and electrical packages on major construction projects based in Cork. This role involves coordinating teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, along with strong communication skills. A company vehicle, bonus, and pension scheme are included.

We are looking for an experienced M&E Coordinator to support the delivery of major construction projects based in Cork.

This role offers the opportunity to work across high-profile projects, coordinating mechanical and electrical packages from design through to commissioning and handover while working with an ambitious and growing team.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate Mechanical & Electrical packages across construction projects in Cork

• Manage and support site teams and subcontractors on all M&E-related activities

• Ensure M&E works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards

• Coordinate design-build M&E packages to meet project and client requirements

• Monitor programme, budget, and progress across M&E packages

• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams throughout delivery

• Support project teams with snagging, commissioning, and final handover

• Manage and coordinate M&E snag lists and close-out activities

• Assist with retentions, subcontractor close-out, and final project completion

• Support estimating and tender reviews when required

• Help identify and resolve technical or coordination issues across projects

What We're Looking For

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or relevant industry experience

• 5+ years’ experience in an M&E Coordinator or Building Services role

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within construction

• Experience coordinating M&E subcontractors and consultants

• Knowledge of commissioning, snagging, and handover processes

• Electrical project experience is an advantage

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience delivering projects in Ireland
