Job summary

Walls Construction is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to support projects across Dublin and Cork. You will ensure building services are coordinated with construction activities, from specification and procurement through installation, testing and commissioning in commercial, industrial, educational and healthcare buildings.

The role requires a 3rd level qualification, at least three years’ experience with a building contractor or related field, strong IT/AutoCAD skills, and the

Job description

We are currently recruiting Mechanical & Electrical Engineer for projects across Dublin, and Cork.

You will be responsible for ensuring all building services are coordinated with other construction activities, from specification and procurement through to the installation, testing and commissioning of services in a variety of commercial, industrial, educational and healthcare buildings.

Responsibilities

• Experience with specifications, service drawings, architectural and structural details, liaising with design teams, coordinating subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with Company standards and programme.
• Manage submission of O & M manuals and other ad hoc duties such as assisting in the preparation of detailed tender documentation.

Requirements

Candidates should have relevant 3rd level qualifications and at least three years experience gained either with a building contractor or in a skills transferable field. Experience with relevant IT systems and knowledge of AutoCAD is required, as is the ability to work in teams, to be organised self starters and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
