Job summary

BMC Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking Quality Control Inspectors to ensure LV switchgear products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

The role involves inspecting incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products on a production floor with focus on electrical, mechanical, and visual checks. You'll maintain inspection records, generate NCRs/CARs, and work with the production team to address non-conformances.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role/industry.
• Relevant QC/QA qualifications or similar.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of QC/QA processes.
• Roles based in Ballycoolin, Damastown and Ashbourne.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished LV Switchgear products.
• Verify components and products meet specifications, IEC/UL standards and customer requirements.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections with appropriate tools.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
• Prepare NCRs and CARs and report quality issues to the Quality Manager.
• Collaborate with production to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance product quality and processes.
• Ensure safety policies are followed on the production floor.
