Job summary

BMC Manufacturing Ltd. in Ireland is seeking Electrical Assemblers to join our team on permanent positions that provide stability and long-term career opportunities.

You will assemble and wire LV switchgear, distribution boards, MCCs and control panels, read electrical drawings and schematics, perform wiring and testing, and support continuous improvement while working overtime during peak periods, collaborating with engineers to ensure quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical installation or industrial/panel wiring.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong LV system knowledge and hands-on wiring skills.
• High attention to detail and good communication.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire LV switchgear, distribution boards, MCCs, and control panels.
• Install electrical devices (breakers, contactors, relays, meters, protection units).
• Perform wiring, cable termination, trunking, and containment work.
• Interpret and work from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Conduct basic testing, continuity checks, and assist with FAT.
• Report issues, complete job documentation, and support continuous improvement.
• Work safely and follow all electrical standards and factory procedures.
