Job summary

Adare Manor seeks a skilled Painter & Wallpaper Decorator to join our Property Services team on a permanent basis. You will carry out internal and external painting, decorating and wallpapering to uphold the luxury standard our Forbes Five-Star resort is known for.

The ideal candidate has trades qualification, strong attention to detail and experience in high-end finishes, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a premium hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator with high-end finishes.
• Trained in wallpapering repairs & replacement.
• Knowledge of paints, lacquers and related finishes.
• Desirable: experience with lime render finishes and architectural period buildings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating requirements.
• Carry out slabbing repairs, plastering and filling to walls to prepare for decoration.
• Erect access equipment and work safely within guidelines.
• Maintain and restock decorating materials and assist with stock procurement.
