Job summary

Weir & Sons in Ireland is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead daily operations of a jewellery retail outlet. You will support staff, handle admin duties, inspect stock, resolve customer issues, train new team members, and manage rosters while working with the Department Manager.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years jewellery retail experience, exceptional customer service, strong leadership, and the ability to develop high-end client relationships.

Qualifications

• Jewellery retail experience is required.
• Excellent verbal communication and the ability to convey information clearly.
• Strong leadership, initiative and delegation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with high-end clients.

Responsibilities

• Support staff on the sales floor and assist with administrative duties.
• Inspect stock and manage rosters in coordination with the Store Manager.
• Train new team members and coach staff to meet sales targets.
• Lead clienteling efforts and use client books for acquisition and retention.
• Ensure customer issues and escalations are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Maintain store visuals and comply with policies and procedures.
