Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a luxury hotel environment or high-end establishment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proactive and energetic approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments.
• Genuine desire to ensure that every guest has a memorable stay, with attention to detail and service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and service quality. You will assist with the management of front and back-of-house operations during your shift and support the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure all guests receive prompt, courteous attention and personalised service. Address guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, striving for swift resolution and follow-up.
• Assist Heads of Departments (HODs) in coordinating daily tasks and ensuring that the hotel runs smoothly. Motivate, support, and lead the team on shift to meet hotel service standards.
• Ensure the hotel maintains compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations during your shift. Monitor areas for safety and cleanliness and ensure a safe, secure environment for guests and staff.
• Uphold the high standards of the hotel by monitoring the quality of service delivery, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. Support the achievement of key performance metrics, including guest satisfaction scores.
• Take responsibility for the hotel in the absence of senior management. Ensure that all departments are coordinated and functioning efficiently during your shift.
• Proactively anticipate and resolve operational issues. Manage guest challenges and concerns promptly and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
