Job summary

Cashel Palace Hotel, a Relais & Châteaux property in Ireland, seeks an experienced Head Chef – Banqueting to lead the culinary delivery of weddings, conferences, and luxury events. You will head a dedicated kitchen team in a high-volume, high-quality environment, ensuring exceptional food, presentation and guest experience.

The role reports to the Executive Sous Chef and focuses on menu development, cost awareness, staff leadership, and flawless execution across intimate to large-scale events at

Qualifications

• Senior kitchen leadership in a luxury hotel, 5+ years.
• Experience delivering weddings, banquets, conferences and large-scale events.
• Advanced HACCP and Food Safety certification.
• Proven ability to manage kitchen teams, labour and food costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead all banqueting kitchen operations.
• Plan and deliver wedding, conference and event menus.
• Ensure outstanding food quality, presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Manage production for functions from intimate to large-scale.
• Collaborate with Events, Sales and Operations for seamless guest experiences.
• Lead, mentor and develop the banqueting team.
• Control labour and kitchen productivity to meet business needs.
• Maintain HACCP, food safety and workplace safety standards.
• Support recruitment, training and succession planning.
• Drive innovation in the hotel's banqueting food offering.
