Job summary

SSE plc is seeking a Project Development Manager in Dublin to support a major pipeline of low carbon infrastructure projects, including hydrogen and CCS. The role involves development through FID, coordinating with partners, and ensuring robust business cases and governance in a fast-paced energy transition environment.

You will work in a hybrid setting with an expectation to spend about 50% in the Dublin office, and be eligible for a performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in large capital infrastructure project development, ideally in energy/power/hydrogen sectors.
• Demonstrable knowledge in infrastructure or power generation technologies.
• Experience developing investment cases and managing risk.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Project Managers from development through Final Investment Decision (FID).
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Contribute to planning consent, procurement strategies, risk management and execution planning.
