Job summary

Spectrum Health is seeking experienced Locum Podiatrists to cover clinics across Dublin and Kildare. The role requires CORU registration, 2+ years of post-qualification private practice, and a full Irish driving licence with own transport.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Podiatry (essential).
• Full Irish Driving Licence (essential).
• Minimum of two years post-qualification experience (essential).
• CORU registration (essential).
• Podiatry Ireland Membership (essential).
• Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential).
• Private practice experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Treat a variety of skin ailments such as verruca’s, corns, calluses, etc.
• Assess and treat ingrown toenails and general feet tidy up.
• Provide preventative care for patients with diabetes at risk of foot disease.
• Liaise with GPs, Physios and other team members and refer when needed.
• Maintain CPD records and write patient case notes and reports.
• Place stock orders and log repairs; may supervise students or juniors.
