Job summary

Center Parcs is seeking a Line Cook/Junior Chef de Partie for Huck's American Bar and Grill at Longford Forest. You’ll prepare and present dishes to high standards, supervise Kitchen Assistants, and assist with kitchen operations when the Kitchen Manager is absent.

Role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays with a guaranteed 150 hours over 4 weeks and a premium on Sundays. Competitive hourly pay and tips offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Line Cook or similar role.
• Ability to supervise Kitchen Assistants when required.
• Knowledge of food safety and cleanliness standards.

We're looking for a Line Cook / Junior Chef de Partie to join our Huck's American Bar and Grill team. You'll prepare, cook and present menu items to high standards, supervise Kitchen Assistants and manage kitchen operations in the absence of a Kitchen Manager.

• Prepare and present dishes to high standards, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety and legal requirements
• Manage stock, portion control and minimise food waste to meet cost targets
• Support menu development and assist Kitchen Managers with procedures and standards

Your working hours

• Full-time contract
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of150 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays
• Premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday
