Job summary

Orona in Dublin is seeking a qualified Lift Testing Engineer for a permanent full-time role. You will conduct commissioning and testing of completed installations, witness testing, and ensure all lifts meet Irish standards, with nationwide travel.

The ideal candidate holds NVQ 4 or equivalent Lift Tester/Technician experience, demonstrates outstanding customer service and communication, and holds a full clean Irish driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 or equivalent Lift Tester/Technician experience.
• Good working knowledge of all lift types/makes.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Experience carrying out all jobs in a safe and thoughtful manner.
• Full Clean Irish Driving Licence.
• Eligibility to Work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Conduct & deliver the commissioning/testing of completed installations to meet the site programme.
• Witness testing as required.
• Ensure new lift installations are fully tested and compliant with the current Irish Standards.
• Fault finding and ability to resolve problematic issues.
• Provide technical support to other engineers across the business, including service.
• Handing over of lifts.
