Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Clare, Ireland, is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for Engineering Operations across value streams in a regulated environment. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of technical excellence.

This on-site role reports to the Senior Manager Engineering Operations and may travel up to 10% to support equipment improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years in manufacturing engineering within a GMP environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma with Green or Black Belt preferred.
• Experience with filling, assembly, machining, automation, labeling and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Manufacturing/Process Engineering team.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to drive uptime, reduce downtime and improve KPIs.
• Lead technical standards and projects to resolve complex equipment issues.
• Drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
• Evaluate and deploy new equipment and automation to scale manufacturing capability.
• Partner with Quality to ensure regulatory compliance and robust process controls.
