Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Clare, Ireland, is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineering Manager to lead a high‑performing Engineering Operations team across multiple value streams in a GMP environment.

You will drive equipment uptime, safety, quality and productivity; lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives; deploy automation solutions; and partner with Quality and cross‑functional teams to ensure compliant, scalable operations. Travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years in manufacturing engineering within a GMP environment.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma with Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Leadership and data‑driven decision making in cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing Engineers to drive KPIs across Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity.
• Provide hands‑on engineering support to resolve manufacturing issues and minimize downtime.
• Provide technical leadership on process issues and standards.
• Drive process improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Implement advanced technologies and automation to boost capability and scalability.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance with Quality teams.
