Job summary

St. Canice’s Kilkenny Credit Union Ltd is seeking a driven Lending Officer to join the lending assessment team.

You will assist the Team Leader in assessing and developing underwriting processes, and help ensure lending risks are identified, assessed and mitigated in line with the Board's tolerance. You will handle loan applications from members, explain loan options, update the CRM (SCION) at every stage, and participate in weekly lending reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year lending experience in Financial Services.
• QFA qualified, APA loans or studying towards.
• Fluency in English is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist Team Leader in assessing, developing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing loan underwriting processes and procedures.
• Recommend improvements to lending policy and procedures.
• Assist in the implementation of plans to develop and promote member products.
• Manage and review credit applications from members and communicate with applicants.
• Maintain CRM (SCION) at every stage of the lending process.
• Participate in weekly Lending review meetings.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR as it relates to lending activities.
