Talbot Hotel Carlow is seeking a Leisure Club Attendant to assist with daily administration of the leisure centre, support membership processing, and help maintain a clean, safe swimming pool area for members and guests.

You will handle phone and email inquiries, renewals, mailshots, and reception duties, while ensuring accurate cash handling and paperwork flow. The role offers ongoing training and a friendly, growing workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service required.
• Ability to perform cash handling and balancing.
• Proficient with administrative tasks and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer complaints efficiently and notify management.
• Count and balance cash in the safe; file papers to accounts.
• Process daily paperwork and update renewal records.
• Update the system with renewals and new member entries.
• Send mailshots to members and prospective members.
• Answer queries via phone or email about memberships.
• Cover reception desk as needed.
• Schedule gym consultations.
• Ensure safe chemical levels and use safety gear.
• Perform daily checks of facilities.
• Maintain a positive Leisure Club environment.
