Job summary

Talbot Fitness Clonmel (Talbot Hotel Clonmel), part of the Talbot Collection are recruiting for a Full & Part-Time Leisure Club Attendant. The role assists in the day-to-day administration of the leisure centre, helps with daily cleaning, and maintains a safe pool environment for members and guests while supporting membership processing.

Lifeguard qualification is essential, with Swim Teacher and Fitness Class instruction as bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day administration of the leisure centre.
• Assist with daily cleaning and pool area safety for members and guests.
• Support the sales and processing of leisure centre memberships.
• Cover the reception desk as required.
• Deal with member queries by phone or email regarding memberships.
• Ensure health and safety rules are understood and followed.
• Carry out routine checks and maintain high cleanliness standards.

Talbot Fitness Clonmel (Talbot Hotel Clonmel), part of the Talbot Collection are currently recruiting for a Full & Part-Time Leisure Club Attendant. (must be available midweek also)

The Leisure Club Attendant assists in the day to day running of administration in the leisure centre. Assisting in the daily cleaning of Club and maintaining a safe and comfortable swimming pool area for members and guests. Support the sales and processing of leisure centre membership.

Role Specific Duties:

• Lifeguard qualification essential*
• Swim Teacher qualification a bonus
• Fitness Class instruction a bonus
• Deal with customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner and to notify Management of these.
• Deal with any queries over the phone or via email in relation to membership or for existing members.
• Cover the reception desk as and when required.
• Pool plant training a bonus.
• Assist and advise members and guests in the use of all equipment/areas of the Leisure Centre, ensuring health and safety at all times.
• Advise guests and members and ensure they understand the rules and regulations of the Leisure Centre.
• Carry out daily routine checks and keep high standards of cleanliness throughout the club.
• Maintain a positive working environment in the Leisure Club
• Any other sundry task not mentioned but within scope of the job.
