An Post is seeking a Legal Operations Assistant reporting to the General Counsel within the Legal Department to provide legal administration and operations services, while supporting the GC, HR, and the Disputes Business Partner. The role will promote and embed technology use across the department.
You will manage day-to-day office operations, create and archive case files, prepare papers for hearings, support budget reporting, and drive efficiency through analytics and transformation projects.
Reporting to General Counsel, the role of Legal Operations Assistant sits within the Legal Department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a variety of legal administration and legal operations services to the Company. You will provide support and assistance to the General Counsel, HR, the Disputes Business Partner and the Legal Department on a day to day basis. In your role, you will promote and embed the use of technology by the Legal Department.

The ideal candidate should have a high level of attention to detail, excellent organisation and communication skills (verbal and written). You should be a strong team player with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing demands and deadlines.
You will be computer literate with a high level of experience in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
You will have a legal diploma, under-graduate degree or considerable experience of working in an in-house Legal Department. Strong knowledge of legal operations and procedures is required.
You have proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and translate complex material into meaningful information. You take initiative and self-manage, work to tight deadlines and excel under pressure.

Salary range starting from €47,323.
Placement within the advertised salary range will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications and alignment with the role requirements.
