Job summary

The Law Society of Ireland is seeking a capable professional to lead Diploma Centre courses, manage a portfolio of programmes and coordinate delivery with educators and students. The role requires flexibility for after-hours contact and strong organisational skills.

Reporting to the Diploma Centre Senior Manager, you will drive course development, work with adjunct faculty, and contribute to online learning initiatives and assessments. 1-year fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister with legal background.
• Experience in education or training is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills under pressurised conditions.
• Ability to work on own initiative and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Act as Course Leader on a range of Diploma Centre courses.
• Manage portfolio of courses, including recruitment of lecturers and co-ordination of delivery.
• Liaise with adjunct faculty, students and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate course evaluations and implement improvements to content and delivery.
• Assist with EU grant proposals and MOOC projects.
• Write promotional articles relating to courses.
