Job summary

Fuse Energy seeks a Legal Counsel to join our London team and support commercial, corporate, and regulatory work as we expand across multiple jurisdictions. This is a chance to shape the legal foundations of a fast-growing energy tech company.

Responsibilities include negotiating MSAs and supplier/customer agreements, translating regulatory requirements into product specs, and embedding legal support across Operations, Finance, Trading, and Product to enable rapid, compliant growth.

• Coordinate filings and regulatory submissions for UK and cross-border compliance.
• Build templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and automate routine workflows.

As part of this mission, we are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our London team. You will play a key role in supporting our commercial, corporate, and regulatory workstreams as we expand rapidly across multiple jurisdictions. Responsibilities

• Own deal flow: Review, draft, and negotiate MSAs, product order forms, and supplier/customer/technology agreements. Flag risks early and land practical, business-friendly solutions.
• Drive product forward: Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear guidance for new product lines. Research regulatory requirements and use them to develop product specs. Review designs end-to-end to ensure they are launch-ready and compliant.
• Embed with the business: Provide crisp, day-to-day advice to Operations, Finance, Trading, and Product. Turn complex issues into simple decisions and help teams move fast with confidence.
• Support UK and cross-border compliance, coordinate filings and regulatory submissions, and maintain policies, registers, and training so everything is inspection-ready without roadblocking the business.
• Build scalable infrastructure: Create and refine templates, clause libraries, playbooks, and best practices. Streamline workflows and automate the routine so the team can focus on the high-impact work.

• Qualified solicitor in Ireland (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
