Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Ireland is seeking a Learning & Delivery Specialist to design and deliver diverse training across corporate and store environments. You’ll partner with colleagues across stores and regional offices to drive impactful L&D programs.

You’ll manage multiple development initiatives, deliver sessions at pace in a fast-moving retail setting, and continuously improve training effectiveness with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience designing and delivering diverse training initiatives across corporate and retail environments.
• Retail or fast-paced environment experience in retail or similar settings.
• Strong knowledge of learning principles and best practices for corporate and retail sectors.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to hit the ground running and deliver impact with minimal ramp-up time.
• Experience delivering strategic, priority-driven learning projects.
• Experience working across multiple locations with dispersed teams.
• Passion for people development and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with different stakeholders to inform global L&D strategies and design learning solutions.
• Oversee multiple development programs for store and regional office colleagues.
• Deliver programmes at pace balancing priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Facilitate sessions in fast-paced retail settings and adapt to frontline needs.
• Support learning solution design for business needs and provide design input.
• Coordinate in-person training logistics and LMS access for colleagues.
• Assess training effectiveness and analyze data for improvements.
• Work with P&C operations to track training and manage supplier relationships.
• Deputise for the L&D Delivery Manager when required.

What You’ll Do as a Learning & Delivery Specialist

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:

• Stakeholder Research & Strategy - Conduct research to inform global L&D strategies and design tailored learning solutions.
• Program Management - Oversee multiple development programs for store and regional office colleagues across diverse learning areas.
• Deliver programmes at pace, balancing competing priorities in a high-volume, operational environment.
• Confidently facilitate in fast-paced, high-energy retail settings, adapting style to meet the needs of frontline teams
• Facilitation & Design Support - Deliver engaging, interactive training sessions and support learning solution design for business needs.
• Logistics & Communication - Coordinate in-person training logistics, communication, and manage LMS for colleague access and engagement.
• Evaluation & Continuous Improvement - Assess training effectiveness, analyze data for improvements, and stay updated on L&D trends and technologies.
• Operate with pace and precision to ensure seamless delivery across busy store environments.
• Collaboration & Leadership - Partner with P&C operations for accurate tracking, manage supplier relationships, and deputize for the L&D Delivery Manager when required.

Extensive L&D Expertise - Over 5 years of experience designing and delivering diverse training initiatives across corporate and retail environments.

• Retail or Fast-Paced Environment Experience - Proven experience working in retail or similarly fast-moving, operational environments (e.g. hospitality, logistics, FMCG).
• Strong Learning Knowledge - Deep understanding of learning principles, methodologies, and best practices for both corporate and retail sectors.
• Impactful Communication & Facilitation - Skilled in engaging diverse audiences through presentations, workshops, and collaborative interactions.
• Ability to Hit the Ground Running - Demonstrated ability to quickly understand business needs, build relationships, and deliver impact with minimal ramp-up time.
• Strategic Delivery & Prioritization - Proven ability to manage complex, fast-paced projects, handle ambiguity, and prioritize competing demands effectively.
• Multi-Site & Distributed Workforce Experience - Successful track record working across multiple locations and with geographically dispersed teams.
