Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is assisting a respected engineering and manufacturing client in search of an experienced Production Manager. The role oversees a one-piece-flow, high-throughput manufacturing operation, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while coaching teams and driving continuous improvement.

You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain to remove bottlenecks and optimise workflow, leveraging SAP to manage

• Proven experience in a Production Manager or senior production leadership role.
• Experience in one-piece-flow, high-throughput or Lean manufacturing environments.
• Track record of improving productivity, efficiency, quality, and delivery KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operation with accountability, engagement, and high performance.
• Optimise workflow, labour utilisation, output and manufacturing efficiency in a one-piece-flow environment.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity KPIs.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks and waste; lead Lean CI initiatives.
• Develop production capability through coaching, training, and succession planning across functions.
