Job summary

The Vet Office in Coolock, North Dublin, Ireland invites an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to step into a Lead Veterinary Surgeon role. You will shape clinical direction while leading and mentoring the team, with a varied small animal caseload and strong emphasis on quality care.

Candidate should have MVB/DVM or equivalent, 3+ years' experience, and a proactive, collaborative approach to practice growth and client satisfaction.

The Vet Office is recruiting a Lead Veterinary Surgeon for an established small animal practice in Coolock, North Dublin.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who wants to combine clinical work with leadership, team development and greater influence over how a practice grows.

Importantly, you don't necessarily need to already be a Lead Vet. If you're an experienced clinician ready to take the next step in your career, we'd be very interested in speaking with you.

The Package

€65,000–€75,000 gross/year, depending on experience.

The Role

This is a hands-on clinical leadership position, rather than a purely management-based role.

Who Are We Looking For?

You’ll need:

• MVB, DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification
• 3+ years' veterinary experience
• Strong small animal clinical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• An interest in mentoring and developing colleagues
• A proactive and collaborative approach
• Previous leadership or commercial experience is beneficial but NOT essential.
