Job summary

ICDS Group in Meath, Ireland, seeks an experienced T&D Civil Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major Transmission & Distribution and renewable energy projects in Meath. You will manage day-to-day project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and handover, lead site teams and coordinate with subcontractors and consultants.

The role requires a Civil/Electrical/Construction Management degree and 3–5 years’ site-based experience delivering T&D or substation

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or Construction Management.
• 3–5 years' site-based construction experience.
• Proven experience delivering T&D, renewable energy or substation projects.
• Strong civil engineering knowledge and electrical infrastructure understanding.
• Experience with MV/HV substations, grid connections and BESS advantageous.
• Demonstrated leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams; electrical trade background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day management, coordination and delivery of assigned projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
• Manage project delivery, costs, programme, quality and overall performance.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and external consultants.
• Manage civil works for 38kV, 110kV and 220kV substations, grid connections and BESS projects.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications, quality and H&S requirements.
• Identify and resolve construction and technical issues.
• Manage commercial and contractual aspects, including project P&L.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
