Job summary

TLI Group in Dublin is seeking a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Team. You will lead electrical design on major Power, Renewable and Substation projects, owning primary and secondary design, calculations and procurement specs while mentoring team members.

Qualifications

• Honours Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years industry experience in electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of the substation, utilities, and renewables sector.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer within the Engineering Team.
• Ownership of substation design elements including primary and secondary design.
• Review and approve team submissions and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Ensure designs meet programme, standards and safety requirements.
• Mentor team members and support tendering where required.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams through feasibility to handover.
