Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the technology solutions team to shape technology solutions across the firm. You will lead a development team, optimize existing platforms and identify new capabilities, while guiding colleagues and upholding our values and brand.

Responsibilities include coaching engineers, delivering AI-assisted coding and testing practices, SDLC/ITIL aligned, and building scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or graduation from a reputed institution.
• Significant software development experience with proven ServiceNow architect/team lead responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience leading AI-assisted software development tools (coding, code review, test acceleration) with quality, performance and security checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and coaching for a team of engineers on tasks of varying complexity.
• Be accountable for decisions influencing team execution and process implementation.
• Collaborate with Business Analysis to produce estimates and agile delivery plans with stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate issues to execute a book of work and escalate as needed.
• Design, code, test, and deliver software leveraging ServiceNow platform frameworks and best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement of scrum processes and practices.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and operational outcomes.
• Apply SDLC and ITIL knowledge to improve development and delivery.
