Job summary

Orange Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead specialist Passive Fire Protection and construction projects across Ireland. The role is hands-on, requiring effective leadership of on-site teams and subcontractors to meet safety, quality and programme targets.

You will coordinate day-to-day site operations, monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure compliance with fire protection standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, specialist contracting, fit-out, or passive fire protection projects.
• Essential experience in Passive Fire Protection, including fire stopping and door projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations.
• Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour teams.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget, and to the required specification.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Contracts Manager.
• Attend site meetings and contribute to planning and progress reviews.
• Maintain site records, reports, programmes, and project documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
