Currently, we are looking for like-minded professionals to join our team and are hiring a Lead Field Services Install Technician to support a large-scale project with a very high-profile client in Co. Kildare
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Professional customer engagement.
- Interact and respond to area lead directions.
- Carry out Install and testing activities.
- Ability to work to tight timelines and schedules.
- Delivers on time.
- Complies with all policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage an overall team.
- Communicate verbally and via systems / email.
- Lead a project team of technicians on the project.
- Manage project from all aspects of the install to testing and acceptance.
- Lead the testing and acceptance activities of the project.
- Drives and implement learnings and continuous improvements to the team throughout the project
Authority:
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
- Carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.
Requirements:
- Strong emphasis on safety on site for themselves and others around them.
- Qualified Electrical / Mechanical Apprentice OR Level 7 OR 8 qualification in an engineering or similar discipline.
- Proven track record in managing Budget / scope and schedule on similar projects.
- Experience in electrical / mechanical systems.
- Capable of managing a team in a diverse project environment.
- Strong PC skills, particularly MS office suite. (Specifically excel and word)
- Strong team working ethos.
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Proficient English
- Problem Solver in a controlled manner.
- Bring a continuous improvement mind set to the role.
- Good client interaction and client management skills.
- Excellent reporting skills on the daily, weekly monthly status of the project against schedule.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to work in confined spaces
