Job summary

Apex Pros Plumbing, Electrical, Heating and Air is seeking a Lead Residential HVAC Installer to lead installations and replacements with precision, adhere to codes, and ensure high-quality workmanship. You will mentor apprentices, collaborate with dispatch, document installations, and help drive customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role includes wiring, ductwork, gas connections, and service documentation; a valid driver’s license and EPA certification are required;

Qualifications

• EPA Certified required.
• Must pass drug testing and background checks.
• HVAC training and/or trade school or 5+ years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals.
• Team-oriented and collaborative.
• Excellent customer service with a focus on exceeding expectations.
• Able to use iPad, smartphone and GPS for job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and replacement of HVAC systems following manufacturer specs.
• Mentor and develop lead installers and apprentices.
• Install HVAC equipment, wire high/low voltage, and install duct systems in residential/light commercial buildings.
• Document installations, record serial numbers, and manage parts and billing.
• Coordinate with dispatch and other departments to meet objectives.
• Ensure safety and proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout when required.
