Job summary

Kilkenny Limestone Quarries Ltd is recruiting a Production Supervisor primarily based in Kellymount, Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny. The role oversees daily production activities and coordinates with Quality Control, Maintenance and Supply Chain to keep schedules on track.

You will manage on-site teams, contractors and finished goods shipments, while ensuring health and safety and cost-efficient operations. 39 hours weekly; 22 days annual leave; pension and sick pay offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent time management and flexibility.
• Computer literacy and ability to use spreadsheets and other basic computer programmes necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of people management.
• Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to completion.
• Good interpersonal skills, building strong working relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure schedules are met.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and Supply Chain for seamless operations.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules to address issues or delays.
• Supervise on-site contractors for production and maintenance.
• Coordinate collection of finished goods and deliveries with purchasing and stores.
• Promote health and safety in all aspects of job.
• Drive production efficiencies through the production function.
