Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a Principal Test Development Engineer to lead test strategies for precision analog/mixed-signal products from concept to high-volume production.

The role requires senior technical leadership, deep ATE expertise (Teradyne/Advantest/NI STS), and collaboration across Design, Evaluation, Product Engineering and Manufacturing teams, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Typically 12+ years of semiconductor industry experience with significant semiconductor test development experience.
• Strong ATE development experience on Teradyne, Advantest, NI STS or equivalent.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor product development including characterization, qualification, production test strategy and yield improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and execution of test strategies for complex precision analog and mixed-signal products from concept through production release.
• Develop innovative and cost-effective probe and final test solutions on advanced mixed-signal ATE platforms.
• Drive product quality, manufacturability and test efficiency through robust test methodologies and release criteria.
• Influence design-for-test, testability and production test strategies through collaboration with Design and Evaluation teams.
• Lead technical reviews, identify development risks and drive mitigation plans across multiple projects.
• Drive successful transfer of production test solutions into high-volume manufacturing and support yield improvement.
