Job summary

Limerick Polymers Production (LPP) in Limerick is hiring a Production Manager – Manufacturing to lead day-to-day operations across polymer processing lines. You will plan, organise and direct production, manage schedules and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires practical leadership, 3+ years in manufacturing leadership, and the ability to work a 39-hour week with occasional weekend shifts to meet production demands. Competitive salary is €36,605 per annum.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Production Manager or equivalent manufacturing production role.
• Ideal background in polymer processing, plastics manufacturing or related process-manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work the 39-hour week with flexibility for weekends when production schedules require it.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and direct manufacturing activity across production lines.
• Set and control production schedules, output targets, cycle times and plant capacity.
• Maintain manufacturing quality standards and material specifications (target purity >98%).
• Direct production resources, plant equipment and process controls to meet orders on time and to spec.
• Lead, train and supervise the manufacturing production team.
• Report on production performance, downtime, quality and cost to senior management.
