Job summary

Sisk Group is seeking a Planning Manager to lead all planning and scheduling activities for assigned projects in Ireland, the UK and Europe. Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will develop robust programmes aligned with contractual requirements and provide guidance to project teams to drive timely delivery.

With extensive experience in construction planning and strong skills in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, you will manage complex programmes, assess risks, and deliver regular progress

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in planning management on medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage project schedules for design, procurement and construction phases.
• Monitor programme progress, identify delays and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare and update short-term lookahead programmes and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate interfaces and dependencies across disciplines.
• Mentor and support planning staff to ensure competency and knowledge growth.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams and commercial staff to provide planning guidance.
