Job summary

Young’s Life Pharmacy Newbridge is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead the team in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.

You will participate in Health Promotion activities, maintain stock control, and implement established SOPs while supporting the Pharmacy Manager to maintain retail standards within a busy community setting in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Must observe Pharmacy Act 2007 regulations.
• Maintain professional standards in community pharmacy.
• Participate in Continuing Education to enhance CPD.
• Implement policies and SOPs as introduced by Allcare Pharmacy.
• Ensure stock control and proper documentation of goods.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy manager in maintaining store retail standards, Merchandising and stock control.
• Observe Health and Safety requirements and ensure staff adherence to safety policies.
• Keep business details confidential and comply with DoH Schemes (e.g. DPS, LTI, GMS).
• Contribute to Health Promotion and Pharmaceutical Care initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy of stock receipts and documentation and security of stock.
