Independent Search Solutions Ltd is recruiting for a Project Lead Packaging Engineer in Mayo, Ireland. The role leads packaging development across units, ensuring compliance and working with multi-site teams. Hybrid work options are available, with a relocation package offered.

The pack­aging engineer will drive sterile packaging and labeling system development, participate in NPI, and support continuous improvement across the business. Experience in ISO11607 and related standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Third level qualification in science or engineering.
• 2–4 years of sterile packaging system development and validation experience.
• Experience with packaging materials, equipment, and sterile labeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects from concept to commercialization.
• Develop and validate sterile packaging and labeling systems.
• Ensure compliance with packaging regulations and standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and design assurance records.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and optimize packaging processes.
• Represent the company at industry events and educate teams on best practices.
