Job summary

ESB’s Generation Engineering Offshore Wind Group seeks an experienced Offshore Wind Transport & Installation Manager to lead transport and installation strategies across ESB’s offshore wind portfolio. You will direct T&I planning, contracts, and interface management for foundations, turbines, cables and substations, and guide multidisciplinary teams and senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

Level 8 degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or related.
Typically 10+ years relevant experience, including offshore transport and installation.
Deep understanding of offshore wind construction and logistics.
Proven track record delivering T&I strategies for major projects.
Strong procurement and contract management experience.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary interfaces and communicate risks to senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

Set portfolio-level strategy for offshore wind transport and installation.
Develop and implement project T&I strategies and contracting approaches.
Direct T&I engineering and interface management across foundations, turbines, cables and substations.
Procure major T&I scopes and manage supplier selection and negotiations.
Own campaign planning and technical assurance.
Identify and mitigate T&I risks with senior stakeholders.
Mentor T&I resources and maintain relationships with ports, vessel providers and contractors.
