Job summary

Children’s Health Ireland seeks a Medical Scientist to manage and maintain the Biochemistry and General Chemistry services at CHI Crumlin and CHI Temple St. The role may lead commissioning requirements in the NCHI if requested.

Requirements include CORU registration, a Masters degree, eligibility for ACSLM fellowship, and 7 years of experience as a Medical Scientist, with at least 2 years at Senior Medical Scientist level.

Qualifications

• Be CORU Registered.
• Hold an approved Masters Degree and be eligible for fellowship of the ACSLM.
• Have 7 years cumulative work experience as a Medical Scientist with at least 2 of those at Senior Medical Scientist Level.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Biochemistry and General Chemistry services at CHI Crumlin and CHI Temple St.
• Lead commissioning requirements in the NCHI if requested.
