Job summary

Dunreidy Engineering Ltd. is seeking an on-site supervisor to oversee mechanical works at the Dublin plant. You will follow contract manager or client instructions, plan daily activities, and ensure timely ordering of materials to keep projects on schedule.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, toolbox talks, method statement preparation and sign-off, and maintaining documentation and drawings. Prior supervisory experience in an industrial/plant setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience out of time served.
• National craft certificate is required.
• IOSH - Managing safely in Construction is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Dunreidy's mechanical work at the Dublin plant.
• Ensure latest instructions from the contract manager or client are carried out.
• Plan daily work activities and prioritise tasks.
• Order materials on time to complete the project.
• Prepare method statements as required and ensure they are read, signed and complied with.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure site safety.
• Deliver toolbox talks as required.
• Keep documentation up to date and monitor progress.
• Maintain drawing register on site and manage manpower.
