Job summary

Suir Engineering is seeking Mechanical Chargehands for a semi-conductor project based in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. The role demands leadership on site, strict safety adherence, and the ability to manage hourly crews to meet project plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a contracting environment.
• Must hold a valid Mechanical Trade Certificate.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Safety and quality focused with a proven background of working to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assume a leadership role on site and maintain safety standards.
• Ensure standard specifications for all jobs adhere to the plan.
• Attend Toolbox Talks and Weekly Progress Meetings.
• Assist supervision in developing the Project Program.
• Monitor, measure and report productivity daily.
• Assign work to the Charge-Hands per the project plan.
• Record and report all extra work via approved methods.
• Perform additional duties as required to meet company needs.
