Job summary

Solventum in Athlone, Ireland, is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support production equipment in a medical device environment. You will repair, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance, and ensure GMP and documentation practices are followed.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience in automated manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and flexibility to work shift patterns. This is an onsite role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a similar technical role within the medical device or similar industry.
• Mechanical experience within an automated manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting / problem solving skills and analytical methodologies.
• Flexibility to work different Shift Patterns as the business requires.

Responsibilities

• Support production equipment in a medical device healthcare environment.
• Repairing and troubleshooting automated electro/mechanical equipment failures.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance procedures through PEMAC.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
• Work proactively to ensure production performance targets are met.
• Ensure that Good Manufacturing Practices & Good Documentation Practices are followed.
• Support Engineering projects and lead actions assigned to maintenance group.
• Focus on Continuous Improvement projects to drive improvements in OEE.
