Job summary

Brown Thomas Arnotts is seeking an Assistant Counter Manager to support the counters in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will work with the Business Manager to drive sales, ensure product knowledge is current, and coach the team on selling techniques and service standards.

You will lead by example in a luxury retail environment, coordinating training, merchandising, and stock control while maintaining high service levels and a positive store presence.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a retail team in luxury beauty.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire a team.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Manager in achieving objectives and targets for the counter.
• Assist in monthly reviews to set goals and measure progress with the team.
• Motivate and drive the team to achieve performance targets.
• Proactively address attendance or conduct issues in line with company policies.
• Ensure teams are trained to process sales through Shopify and tills with care and accuracy.
• Share up-to-date product knowledge to deliver an industry-leading customer experience.
• Lead coaching and follow-up to develop team members.
• Support visual displays, merchandising and stock replenishment to standards.
• Assist with accurate inventory counts and routine housekeeping of stock.
