Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer focused on IoT and edge computing to set technical direction and lead delivery for critical initiatives. You will architect resilient, secure, and observable solutions, mentor engineers, and drive alignment across platforms while ensuring compliance and reliability.

The role requires deep experience in IoT/edge domains, real‑time data systems, and the ability to influence standards and roadmaps across global teams.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• Extensive applied experience in infrastructure engineering, including IoT/edge computing and real‑time data systems.
• Knowledge of MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, 5G/WiFi standards.
• Proven ability to lead architecture decisions and drive technical consensus.
• Ability to review AI‑assistant recommendations for resiliency, security and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and execution of IoT/edge infrastructure initiatives and real‑time data systems.
• Own technical direction for IoT/edge domains and contribute to roadmaps.
• Coordinate multiple large projects across global teams and platforms.
• Design changes to modernize processes, reduce risk, and improve reliability.
• Provide hands‑on engineering leadership for design, development, automation, and troubleshooting.
• Set and enforce engineering standards and guardrails.
• Lead stakeholder communications and drive systemic product improvements.
• Manage incident/problem/change outcomes and root‑cause analysis.
