Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer focused on IoT and edge computing.

You will architect and implement modernized infrastructure solutions, collaborating with global teams to resolve complex issues, drive automation, and ensure security and resiliency across distributed systems. The role emphasizes AI-assisted workflows, data-driven decision making, and strong stakeholder management within a large financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• Applied experience in infrastructure engineering, including IoT, edge computing, or real-time data systems.
• Deep knowledge of network infrastructure, edge computing, and IoT device connectivity (MQTT, CoAP, LoRaWAN, 5G/WiFi).
• Expertise in hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, ensuring resiliency, security and auditability.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, with ability to migrate across public and private clouds.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to projects of moderate scope in infrastructure engineering.
• Drive workstreams or projects involving infrastructure engineering technologies.
• Collaborate with platforms to architect and implement changes that modernize processes.
• Develop and troubleshoot designs for moderate complexity.
• Advise on data implications and mitigation actions across systems.
• Foster a diverse, inclusive team culture and collaborative environment.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with compliance and SLAs.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to close issues and drive product improvement.
• Demonstrate learning and teaching as new features are released.
• Work with SMEs to deliver business value through IoT.
• Utilize enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate analysis and documentation while ensuring data sensitivity and security.
• Apply AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and validate remediation.
