Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer focused on IoT and edge computing. You will set technical direction, lead delivery for critical initiatives, and mentor engineers across global teams to ensure secure, observable, and resilient solutions.

You will partner with product and engineering to drive multi-quarter roadmaps, oversee incident and change management, and champion compliance and auditability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure engineering, IoT and real-time data systems.
• Deep knowledge of network infrastructure, edge computing, and IoT device connectivity.
• Proven ability to lead architecture decisions and influence platform standards.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure across public and private clouds.
• AWS certification(s) and experience with AI-assisted validation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and execution of complex infrastructure engineering initiatives spanning IoT and edge computing.
• Own technical direction for one or more IoT/edge domains and contribute to multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Drive multiple workstreams and coordinate dependencies across global teams and platforms.
• Partner with platforms to modernize processes, reduce risk, and improve reliability.
• Provide hands-on engineering leadership for design, automation, and troubleshooting of high complexity.
• Set and enforce engineering standards, guardrails, and operational readiness.
• Lead incident/change/problem management and drive root-cause analysis and improvements.
• Communicate tradeoffs and progress to stakeholders with clarity and accountability.
