Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Principal Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end GPU infrastructure solutions for AI workloads. You will translate complex customer requirements into scalable designs across GPU compute, networking, storage, and orchestration platforms.

This highly technical, customer-facing role demands deep expertise across the GPU stack, orchestration, and performance validation. You will collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Deployment teams to ensure optimal

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, infrastructure engineering, HPC or large-scale data centres.
• Strong experience designing and delivering large-scale GPU infrastructure and AI/HPC solutions.
• Ability to translate complex customer requirements into detailed technical architectures and plans.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end GPU infrastructure solutions tailored to customer requirements and AI workloads.
• Architect GPU cluster configurations including rack layouts, power, cooling, and NVLink/NVSwitch domains.
• Design high-performance network architectures (InfiniBand, Ethernet, RoCE, GPUDirect RDMA).
• Define storage architectures and data pipelines for large-scale AI training and inference.
• Develop orchestration layers (bare-metal provisioning, Kubernetes, Slurm) and multi-tenant scheduling.
• Architect control plane and management systems for monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements and translate them into architectures.
• Lead performance benchmarking and validate GPU interconnects and networks.
• Automate design workflows using IaC tools and AI tooling.
