Job summary

Wallace Myers International partners with a leading fire engineering consultancy to appoint a Senior Fire Engineer for their Dublin team. This hybrid/remote role offers exposure to high-profile projects and compliance with Irish and international standards, focusing on technical leadership and mentorship.

You will develop fire safety strategies, liaise with design teams, lead regulatory submissions, and contribute to knowledge development while advancing your chartership journey in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in fire engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Irish building/fire regulations.
• Chartered Engineer status is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver fire engineering solutions across projects.
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and TGD-B.
• Conduct fire risk assessments and performance-based designs.
• Liaise with architects, design teams, contractors and authorities.
• Lead FSC, DAC and BCAR submissions.
• Prepare reports and support tender processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and stay updated with standards.
