Activ8 Solar Energies is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead residential solar installations from planning through to completion, based in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. You will oversee installation teams and field staff, ensuring safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery with strong leadership and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience managing remote service or installation teams.
• Proven solar industry experience, preferably residential operations or project management.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Regular one-to-ones with team to share and receive feedback.
• Provide coaching or escalation support for Team Leads.
• Delegate tasks across the team as appropriate.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans to address gaps.
• Understand motivation and engagement levels and maintain them.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing for scheduling and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement SOPs for installation, quality control and safety.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Monitor timelines, budgets and resources to keep projects on time and budget.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety and quality.
• Provide reports to senior management on status and metrics.
