Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking an infrastructure architect for a 12-month initial contract in Dublin. The role focuses on delivering secure, high-performing internet infrastructure with emphasis on F5 GTM/LTM, DNS and networking, and involves producing architecture designs and technical documentation.

You will gather stakeholder requirements, translate them into high-level designs and work with application teams, architects and engineers in a hybrid Dublin setup.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with F5 GTM/LTM, DNS and networking.
• Advanced knowledge of load balancers and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs).
• Working knowledge of cloud and database technologies.
• Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and network micro-segmentation.
• Experience with YAML-based deployments and infrastructure design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure, scalable internet infrastructure and middleware solutions.
• Configure and troubleshoot F5 GTM/LTM, DNS and networking issues.
• Produce and maintain TADs, infrastructure diagrams and technical docs.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and assist in capacity planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
